About

My Story

Yes, I ran an ultramarathon with no training. And yes, I backpacked Europe for a month 7 days after my Mom passed away (a mentor fully funded me to go.)

Sooooo… my story right?

In 2021, from the outside, I seemed to have it all—a full-ride scholarship, a podcast interviewing Grammy-winning artists and millionaires, and a recent Man of the Year nomination in high school.

And as you could guess, I really had nothing. 2022 came and I began to cry myself to sleep. And I’d wake up in the morning, but couldn’t get out of bed.

Months went by living like this. I tried therapy, lifting my problems away, and journaling, but none of it worked. But there were two things that kept my head above water. A 10-minute YouTube breathwork video and cold showers that I started doing back in 2020.

But that only did so much. In March of 2022, I snapped. I told my brother that I had thoughts of taking my life.

Two days after I told my brother that, our Mom was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

Everything changed in that moment.

I started taking my breathwork and cold showers more seriously because I had to. I was deeply struggling with Mom’s diagnosis.

My brother and I bought a chest freezer and made a DIY cold plunge. I began doing breathwork for 20-30 minutes every day and jumping in the cold water.

In 2023, people began to ask more about the breath and cold plunge. So I’d invite them over, facilitate breathwork (intuitively), and they’d hop in my freezer.

I’d see something beautiful happen moments before stepping into the cold. I’d see fear, but once they submerged and focused on the breath, something would light up in their eyes. Empowerment.

In July of 2023, Mom passed away. She gifted us 18 beautiful months, answered every question and it was the most painfully beautiful experience I’ve ever been a part of.

In 2024, I got fully certified as a breathwork facilitator, graduated college,  took all of my money, and bought a real cold plunge. I started to host more events in my backyard and living room.

Now I’m teaching at studios, gyms, universities, performing arts centers, companies and more.

Yes, the breathwork will make you feel better. Yes, the cold plunge will give you a 250% boost in dopamine. But that’s not why I teach. I facilitate because this is what saved my life. And now I have responsibility and duty to teach.

That’s just a little bit of my story. A sliver in the pie. I write a lot on Substack and post a lot on social media. I also do mental health & wellness speaking engagements for schools, companies, and retreats.
